Technical Director (Full time- Hybrid working, 2 days in office 3 from home) £100k plus

My client a Digital Product agency are looking for a Technical Director to join the growing development team.

You will be work alongside the Head of Engineering, Head of Delivery and Head of Customer Success, to offer the best technical solution for their impressive client base.

We need you to:

• Lead the product & support teams providing strategic direction and technical oversight, motivating the teams to be the best they can be.
• Build trust with prospective & new customers, showing the company’s technical expertise. You will understand their business needs, explore implementation options, and show how the products can fulfil their requirements and provide great business value
• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients and develop integration plans that can be used by the implementation team to ensure relevant data & functionality flows between our systems and our customers.
• Facilitate conversations between customers and engineers, translating technical concepts & options into non-technical outcomes & considerations.

You will need to have:

• Several years of experience working within an engineering team for either retailers directly or retail technology providers
• Proven success leading integrations between common retail systems (e.g., eCommerce, ERP, CRM, retail operations)
• Experience with stakeholder management, technical sales & working within a commercial framework.
• Knowledgeable about retail technology & industry trends & best practices
