Our client is a leading name in the specialist travel industry, and they are now looking for a Senior .Net Developer to join their team. You will get the opportunity to develop, maintain, support applications based mainly on .NET stack and participate in all phases of the development life cycle, analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS

The key elements of the role are: 

• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Working to planned timescales and timely delivery of all tasks and projects.
• Working to high standards and development of coding practices.
• Assist in developing and work with change control and source control processes
• Working with external development partners to deliver new functionality and projects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

At least two years commercial experience with:

• C#, ASP.NET, MVC using Visual Studio
• HTML, Basic CSS, Basic JavaScript
• SQL 
• Git
• API (JSON/XML) development in .NET
• Unit Testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Knowledge of Agile Development
• Experience within application development or equivalent knowledge ideally in a commercial organisation with strong problem-solving skills.
